C2FM Scholarship Terms

To be eligible for a scholarship award from C2FM you must agree to the terms below:

I agree to participate in the C2FM seminary scholarship program and complete three financial coaching sessions and related assignments by December 31, 2019, and to participate in a follow-up survey. I understand the payment of the scholarship is determined based on my satisfactory completion of the coaching requirement and the total number of seminary course hours complete in the fall semester 2019 and enrolled in the spring semester 2020. All scholarship award decisions are determined within the sole discretion of the C2FM Application Review Committee.

Your application will be considered for the following awards.

The number and amount of the award may vary depending on funds available and the number of students applying. Students must reapply each year for consideration.

Missouri Conference Board of Ordained Ministry and Missouri Conference Student Aid Seminary Grant
Amounts vary. Full-time or Half-time study. Potential full-time amount is $2,500 per semester and potential part-time amount is $1,250 per semester.   

Missouri United Methodist Foundation Seminary Scholars Grant
Full-time: Up to $3,000 per year
Part-time: Up to $1,500 per year

Students must reapply each year and each student is eligible to receive a cumulative maximum amount of $9,000 within six years of the first grant. This grant is only available to students who are certified candidates in Missouri and pursuing the Master of Divinity or equivalent degree who also are committed to serving in Missouri under appointment as a local church pastor for at least five years following graduation from seminary.

C2FM Seminary Scholarship
Full-time: Up to $2,500 per year
Part-time: Up to $1,250 per year

On August 1 a promissory note will be sent to your seminary letting them know that funds will be released to the seminary after add/drop date.
